Academic Technologies is the home to a group of creative software developers at Northwestern University (Evanston, IL USA) who work in support of our University's interests in teaching, research and new forms of scholarship.

We're the faculty support division of NU Information Technology. We also work closely with the digital collections efforts of the NU LIbrary, with cultural organizations around the world, and with other research universities.

Although some of our software development work is restricted to a particular research project, much of our most recent work is being made available at this site for open source distribution for community development. We hope that well-qualified developers will find these software applications to be of interest, and that this site will encourage collaboration and the development of new services in these development areas.
